A Japanese tea brand born in Kyoto Japan. Temae Mersi’s sole focus is organic matcha and organic zairai (native seed) teas. Our products have lovingly been selected after infinite tastings over many years.
The combination for the love of nature and the practice of tea ceremony for over a decade, prompted to give birth to the brand and share our delicious findings with the world.
In ‘Gratitude for serving Tea’, is how we describe the brand. Temae is the word that describes the movements and procedures of the host while conducting the tea ceremony. Mersi is a combination of the Persian word for ‘thank you’ and the Spanish word for ‘yes’.

Joon AHM
Is a contemporary ceramic design practice born in Kyoto, Japan.
It uses traditional Japanese ceramic techniques and glazes to produce one of a kind pieces.
Joon Ahm focuses on objects of daily use as well as order made pieces and pieces made specifically for art installations. The intrinsic link between the scales of architecture and home (ceramic) utensils is a peculiarity inheritable and permeating Joon Ahm’s creations.
Constant experimentation is a key element when working with natural materials and their chemistry. Joon Ahm conduces a special ongoing research on the very specific characteristic of the sound of ceramics rendered by the different kinds of clays, porcelains, glazes and forms. Two lines of work derive from this process: Haku Yuu which are white porcelain objects born from the sound of porcelain itself and Iro Tori Dori which are a variety of objects each deriving its form from a single or a group of tones (sounds).
